Responsibilities:nnTransports community residents to and from medical appointments, activities, and shopping errands using the community owned vehicle.nReads the transportation schedule daily and assures all scheduled appointments can be met.nIs flexible for unscheduled transportation needs in an emergency.nMonitors resident activity and alerts staff when assistance is necessary to assure resident safety.nCompletes routine periodic vehicle inspection checks and informs Executive Director of any maintenance problems or safety issues that need to be addressed.nIs thoroughly familiar with fire, missing persons, and other emergency procedures; follows community policy and procedures detailed in fire and disaster plans.nRequires minimal supervision; is a self-starter.nAll other duties that are assigned by any member of management.nFollows emergency procedures.nUnderstands the safety practices and procedures.nDisplays mature behavior and attitude in speech and action; demonstrates consistently pleasant demeanor, tone of voice, supports the philosophy and approach to resident care and passenger safety used by the community.nCommunicates effectively with supervisor and other staff.nAdvises supervisor and appropriate manager of any changes in physical and mental health of resident immediately.nn Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:nnMust have current Class F, Class A, or Class V and S endorsement on state driver's license and clean driving recordnExperience in a driving position preferred.nMust have ability to operate van lift.nAbility to read, write, and speak English.nn Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening including background check, drug screening, and reference. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
