O'Rourke and Birch Florist O'Rourke and Birch Florist Waterbury, CT Waterbury, CT Temporary Part-time Seasonal Full-time Temporary Part-time Seasonal Full-time $17 - $20 an hour $17 - $20 an hour 7 days ago 7 days ago 7 days ago Duties - Create floral arrangements and designs for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and special events - Assist customers in selecting the right flowers and arrangements for their needs - Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers - Maintain inventory of flowers, plants, and supplies - Keep work area clean and organized - Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register - Stock and maintain floral displays Experience - Previous experience in floral design or related field preferred - Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage - Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and understand their needs - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus As a Floral Designer, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and passion for flowers by creating beautiful arrangements for our customers.
