Overview:
East Coast Millwork is a New England based family-owned millwork installation company that works with Lowe's Home Improvement to provide services across CT & MA.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a great attitude looking to take action and grow with us.
We are looking to onboard an Customer Service Support Specialist to join the team in our corporate office in Waterbury, CT.
Position Summary The Customer Service Support Specialist is responsible for interfacing with customers, installation teams and retailer partner teams in the production process of installations.
Develop and maintain positive customer relations and coordinate with installers in the field.
Also working and interacting with retail partners for product and labor support.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Analyzing customer inquiries to determine appropriate actions to take to help them.
Resolving installation concerns; scheduling repairs Following-up on orders to ensure that concerns have been resolved and closed out.
Working with retail partners to secure labor and product as needed.
Following-up on work orders issued by retail partners to make sure issues have been scheduled and/or resolved.
Receiving and checking customer complaints; consulting with Installation Services Manager for direction as needed Compiling statistics on Installation crew performances around work orders.
Other duties as needed Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Prior experience with customer service a plus Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word and PowerPoint Excellent oral and written communication skills Familiar with flooring installations a plus.
Excellent customer relationship skills Organized with an ability to know retail partners activities and status on an ongoing basis Ability to read and interpret documents such as product warranty and guidelines; ability to write routine reports and correspondence Physical Demands and Work Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
