Initial Term:
Until August 31, 2024, with a competitive hourly rate of $19.
00 (20-30hrs per week) Extension & Salary Increase:
Potential extension to December 31, 2024, with a salary increase to $21.
50 an hour, contingent upon performance (20-30hrs per week).
Role
Summary:
Northeast Scientific invites applications for 2 open positions of Sales Intern.
This role is designed to support our Sales Director & Sales Team in achieving our sales goals.
The successful candidate will be a vital part of our team, contributing to day-to-day operations and long-term strategies through various tasks, including customer service, prospecting, and data management.
Interns are expected to participate in the CCAT IMF Internship Program.
Key
Responsibilities:
Assist in daily sales operations, including but not limited to making phone calls, sending emails, updating CRM, participating in video conferences, prospecting, and providing customer service.
Work collaboratively with the sales team, offering updates and innovative ideas to drive sales forward.
Maintain a competitive and goal-oriented mindset while thriving in a dynamic sales environment.
Required
Qualifications:
Currently Enrolled in a 4-year degree program with a focus on sales and marketing Availability to be onsite from Monday to Friday during normal business hours for 20-30hrs per week.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and expedite tasks upon request.
Flexible and adaptable to procedural changes.
Strong communication skills, capable of managing both inbound and outbound communications.
Proficiency in productivity software (Office, Outlook, CRMs) Ability to work well with different personalities and across various functions.
Positive, enthusiastic, and motivated disposition.
Quick learning ability and tech-savvy nature.
Prior experience in sales, marketing, cold calling, phone sales, medical devices, or related fields is a huge plus.
