RN - IV Therapy

The role of the IV Therapy RN is to direct, coordinate, provide and evaluate patient care, as well as support safety initiatives, handle/support various organization responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
assists staff with difficult peripheral IV insertions; acts as a resource to staff regarding all IV therapies; demonstrates competency in midline IV insertion using bedside ultrasound; develops competency in PICC line insertion; participates in central lines insertions by acting as a resource/monitor for adherence to all insertion requirements; assumes responsibility to assess and monitor all central lines for need and care; maintains /monitors all central line dressings daily; actively participates in the Quality/ CLABSI committee; collects and reports data related to HAIs (CLABSIs); is a member of the hospital-wide Infection Prevention Committee.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and have a current CT RN license required. Clinical and technical knowledge and skills consistent with licensure required. Must have expert IVskills. Related experience preferred. Must have strong customer service and communication skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
